We’re exceptionally pleased to present our new pub crawl print featuring some of the historic local pubs in St Albans. It’s a fascinating city with a rich history and a stunning cathedral. We think the rich purple on the print provides the perfect ecclesiastical feel.
Personally I chose this area as I still have family living here. Infact we’ve traced our family history back nearly 400 years – some of my long lost relatives can be found in the churchyard opposite the King Harry pub at the start of the route.
This pub crawl has intriguing buildings on it. Ye Olde Fighting Cocks is in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the UK’s oldest pub. The Farriers Arms was once the most popular haunt of Camra when their headquarters were based nearby.
If you’ve got any stories or memories we’d love to hear them. You can comment on this post, below or share with us on Facebook and Twitter.
Please support our local High Street shops by popping in to Cositas to purchase a print and take a look around. We’ll have a picture of the poster in the shop soon!
