  WE'RE OVERWORKED
According to latest polls Brits are among the world's hardest working. We do an average 43.6 hours a week compared to 43.1 in the US. Unfortunately average UK wealth per head is just £16,085 compared to £25,538 in the US. The laid-back French do just 35 hours and the EU average is a refreshing 40.3. Frenetic Japanese do a staggering 47.3 hours work per week, but strangely have the highest life expectancy of 77.2 years.
