- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ::: X-BOX ADVERT BANNED ::: One of our favourite adverts has been banned. It begins with a woman giving birth to a boy who shoots out of a window in a surreal sequence. He then ages rapidly as he travels through the air screaming before crashing into his own grave as an old man. The commercial ends with the line: "Life is short. Play more." Following 136 complaints the ITC branded it "offensive, shocking and in bad taste". - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ::: NEW SUPERHERO MOVIE ::: The Wonder Twins, the Hanna-Barbera animated characters, are to be turned into a family live action movie by Warner Brothers. The Wonder Twins were two rookie aliens that teamed up with Superman and friends in the 70s TV cartoon The All-New SuperFriends Hour. With their defiant chant of "Wonder Twin powers, activate!" and handy ability to communicate telepathically, the duo were a force to be feared. Scooby-Doo's UK release is scheduled for July 12. - - - - -

That's what Brian and Angela Clarke from Wigan, UK have done. When they discovered their new car wouldn't fit the garage they put a pub in instead. It's called 'The Stay Inn' and has real beer pumps, posters, neon signs, tankards and bar stools. Lovely. Meanwhile a pub in Wales has been handing out free drinks for goals scored against England.
